Annual Quilt Show

Clinton, IL – The Salt Creek Patchmakers Quilt Guild is excited to announce their annual quilt show, “Back to Basics,” taking place on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22, 2025, at Little Galilee Christian Camp in Clinton. Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, this year’s event invites quilt enthusiasts and newcomers alike to experience the art and tradition of quilting. Admission is $8, with free entry for children under 12.

The show will feature a variety of quilts on display, including the Guild Challenge and a Winner’s Showcase. Attendees can explore a range of inspiring designs and techniques in these non-voting exhibits, showcasing the creativity and skill of Guild members.

A highlight of the show will be a special Bed-Turning Event, scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. daily. This cherished tradition showcases quilts layered on a bed, turned back one at a time as each quilt’s story is shared. This year’s bed-turning theme, “Back to Basics,” explores the essential skills and lessons in quilt-making that members have valued and refined over the years.

The Quilting Expo will host vendors offering a variety of fabrics, tools, and notions for sale. Additionally, visitors can browse gently used quilting supplies, books, and other items as Guild members “de-stash” their sewing rooms. A new feature this year, the Patchmakers Boutique, will offer a selection of unique, handmade quilted items crafted by Guild members—perfect for gift-giving or adding a personal touch to your home.

Don’t forget to stop by the Quilt Show Café, where soups, desserts, and beverages will be served, back by popular demand! 

Lunch and desserts will be available to purchase.

Vendors from Central Illinois will be available to help source the supplies you need for your quilting adventures.
